Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Sale Haul

Hey girlies! I’m Asha, and I wanted to share with you all the amazing products I snagged during Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty Sale. Now, I have to admit that this year’s sale didn’t have as many stand-out or unique items, but I still managed to find a few gems. First up, I purchased the Morphe x Ashley Strong palette, which is an activated water liner palette. It’s such a cool concept – you just dip your brush in water, then dip it into the palette, and voila! Instant eyeliner in a variety of shades. And let me tell you, this palette did not disappoint.

I also couldn’t resist grabbing some highlighters from Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics, even though I probably didn’t need them. But hey, the packaging was too beautiful to resist! I picked up shades “Go for Gold” and “Awestruck,” and while I found them to be a bit powdery, they blended beautifully into my skin. Moving on, I got the Bare Minerals Bare Pro concealer for a natural, no-makeup look. It’s creamy, easy to blend, and gives just the right amount of coverage. Lastly, I couldn’t resist the Nudesticks eye stick in the shade “Immortal” for a subtle wash of color on my lids. Overall, I’m pretty happy with my purchases and I hope you enjoyed hearing about them as much as I enjoyed sharing them with you!

Morphe x Ashley Strong Palette

First up, we have the Morphe x Ashley Strong Palette. This palette is not your typical eyeshadow palette. It’s actually an activated water liner palette, which is super unique. The idea is that you dip your brush in water, pick up the color from the palette, and it automatically turns into a liner. How cool is that? I haven’t had a chance to play around with the colors yet, but I’m excited to try it out. The palette features a range of shades, from cream to olive brown to dark black. There’s even a navy blue, which I’ve been wanting for a while. I have to say, I was impressed with the accessibility of this product and couldn’t resist picking it up, even though it wasn’t on sale.

Highlighters from Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics

Next, let’s talk about these highlighters from Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics. Now, I have to admit, I didn’t need any more highlighters, but the packaging on these is just gorgeous. I couldn’t resist. I picked up the shades “Go for Gold” and “Awestruck.” When swatching them, I noticed that they can be a bit powdery, but they blend nicely into the skin. “Go for Gold” is a beautiful shade that seamlessly melts into my skin, while “Awestruck” is more of a pinky rose gold. I know I probably shouldn’t have bought them, considering I didn’t need any more highlighters, but I’m not regretful. They’re stunning and I’m sure I’ll find a way to incorporate them into my makeup routine.

Bare Minerals Bare Pro Concealer

Moving on, let’s talk about the Bare Minerals Bare Pro Concealer. This is actually my first time trying anything from Bare Minerals, and I have to say, I’m impressed. I remember back in the day when there used to be a standalone Bare Minerals store in my hometown, and my mom would occasionally purchase products from there. She always warned me about our sensitive skin and how certain products might not work for us, so I’ve stayed away from the brand for a while. However, I decided to give this concealer a try because I’ve been on the hunt for a natural-looking, no-makeup makeup concealer. And let me tell you, this is it! The texture is creamy and easy to blend, and the coverage is just right. It’s not super matte or drying, which is perfect for my under-eye area. The only thing I would change is the shade I chose – I would go a bit lighter next time. But overall, I’m really enjoying this concealer and highly recommend it.

Nudesticks Eye Stick

Now, let’s talk about the Nudesticks Eye Stick. I love Nudesticks, but I have to admit that I sometimes forget to use them. However, this time I made sure to pick up their eye stick in the shade “Immortal.” I’ve been trying to achieve that no-makeup makeup look, and I thought this eye stick would be perfect for a subtle wash of color on my lids. The texture is smooth and creamy, making it easy to apply. I did make the mistake of piling it on a bit too much the first time I wore it, so next time I’ll make sure to sheer it out for a more dispersed look. But overall, I’m happy with it so far.

Buxom Full Force Lipsticks

Last but not least, I picked up some lipsticks from Buxom in the shades “Hotshot,” “Icon,” and “Goddess.” I opted to order these online instead of going in-store, mainly because of the free shipping. The colors are really beautiful and perfect for achieving a natural, no-makeup look. The finish of these lipsticks is more on the creamy side, rather than matte, and they’re not full-coverage. Some shades require a bit more work to build up the pigment, but I don’t mind that since I’m going for a more natural look. I will say that the swatches online don’t seem to be super accurate, so if you’re thinking of picking these up, I recommend going in-store for a better color comparison. But overall, I’m happy with how they apply and the natural finish they give.

Recommendation: Try Products in-store!

Now, before I wrap up, I want to touch on the importance of trying products in-store whenever possible. While online shopping is convenient, it’s not always the most accurate when it comes to shade selection. I’ve personally experienced this with the Buxom lipsticks I purchased. The swatches online didn’t match the actual product as closely as I had hoped. That’s why I recommend going into the store and testing out products for yourself. By doing so, you can get a better sense of the colors, textures, and finishes, which will ultimately lead to a more satisfying purchase.

Overall, I’m really satisfied with my purchases during Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty sale. Despite not finding many noteworthy or special items, I managed to find some gems that I’m enjoying. From the Morphe x Ashley Strong Palette to the highlighters from Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics, the Bare Minerals Bare Pro Concealer, the Nudesticks Eye Stick, and the Buxom Full Force Lipsticks, each product has brought something unique and exciting to my makeup routine. I hope you all enjoyed hearing about my haul, and I truly hope you find joy and inspiration in incorporating these products into your beauty routines. Thank you for watching, and as always, take care, stay blessed, and remember to spread a little light wherever you go. Love you all!
